It is a physical and psycho-emotional illness that creates a dependency or need towards a substance, activity or relationship. It is characterized by a set of signs and symptoms, in which biological factors are involved,

genetic, psychological and social.

Usually the word "addiction" usually refers only to drug use and the abuse of different substances. However, any behavior that is pleasant for a subject is susceptible to becoming an addiction and generating a strong dependency.
